Corporate Design and Website/CMS for Hamburg based photographer Sebastian Schmidt.
Over the last 15 years, Sebastian Schmidt has been a photographer for the music and advertising industry. He is working with international entertainers such as Robbie Williams, Lou Reed or Nena, shooting for magazines “Die Zeit”, “Stern” or “Rolling Stone”, amongst others.
The developed corporate design represents a combination of eye-catching and simple but elegant design elements with a material mix of stamp foiled typography and silk-mat paper of high volume.
A high cross-functionality of the designed media is being achieved through perforation and predefined folds. The same foil stamp is used for business cards and stationary. This helps keeping the production costs low. Digital templates for office software are being used to customize the pre-printed stationary.
The portfolio website translates Schmidt’s corporate design to the screen-based medium, technically being based on a comprehensive open-source content management system and JavaScript/Ajax front-end.
